Flocking in masses to the tune of almost 3,50,000, Sunburn Music Festival 2021 is all set to host its 15th edition on 27th December 2021 in Small Vagator in Goa.
Multiple applications were made to the Government of Goa to conduct Sunburn Festival 2021 on a mega level like the pre-pandemic editions. But following the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the application of the organizers to hold the festival was shunned altogether by the Chief Minister of Goa. Hence, the capacity to house attendees is reduced significantly. Sunburn Music Festival Goa 2021 will be held with a capacity of only 20% of the usual crowd.
With travel restrictions relaxed in multiple states, the comeback of the Sunburn Festival in Goa is the prime harbinger of tourists from all over the country, particularly during the peak travel season in the state.

Sunburn Festival 2021 will be held at Hilltop, Small Vagator in Goa. Tickets can be purchased on BookMyShow. The price of the ticket per attendee is INR 3,000.

Sunburn Music Festival has attracted talents of the likes of Dimitri Vegas, Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Above & Beyond, Avicii, The Chainsmokers, and many more.

RULES
After having the primary application rejected by the Government, the organizers resolved to hold the Sunburn Music Festival 2021 on a significantly smaller scale. The decision was met with elation by EDM buffs as well as censure by concerned netizens. To curb the concerns associated with health and safety, multiple guidelines are laid out for the festival-goers. They are: –
- Only fully vaccinated tourists will be permitted to attend Sunburn Music Festival 2021.
- Aarogya Setu App must be installed on the attendees’ smartphones at all times.
- Crowding around the F&B spots, restrooms, and common areas in and around the festival arena are not allowed.
- Social distancing must be maintained at all times. To ensure the same, the general rows are laid out with sections to contain a maximum of 50 people at a time. Private pods are designated for VIP attendees that ensure isolation and social distancing.
- Attendees will be allowed to enter the arena only at the time slot selected while booking the tickets.
- The statement wristbands of Sunburn Festival 2021 will not be provided this year.
There will not be a box office present on the day of the festival. So, the attendees need to book the tickets a week in advance. The tickets will be delivered to their houses.
