The Armani Group, global leader in luxury fashion and lifestyle, has opened its Armani/Caffè in Mumbai’s hotspot for luxury brands—the Jio World Plaza set in BKC. Starting a new year for luxury dining in India, the Armani/Caffe’s launch is of utmost significance. Placed adjacent to the first-ever Giorgio Armani Boutique in the Jio World Plaza, this Café boasts a blend of Milanese elegance, fashion and gastronomy. Offering a slight twist to Italian classics, the Armani/Caffès serves simple and flavourful food. Much like its fashion, everything in the café’s menu is made with the highest quality ingredients.
The 52-seater café, first-ever in South Asia, promises its visitor a refreshingly minimalist, classy and flavourful experience. Inspired by its origin country Milan, the café is adorned with teal-blue interiors, warm lighting and a cosy ambiance. Enhanced with classic Armani motifs, and delicate palm tree screens, the café gives all-luxe feels.
Speaking of the menu, Armani/Caffè offers authentic Italian classics around the globe and Mumbai’s space offers the same. To enhance the whole dining experience, the Italian menu of this premium eatery is paired with 52 of the finest wines flown in from Italy, three Champagnes from France, 11 amaro liqueurs, and a set of Prohibition-era cocktails. The dishes served are all according to the liking of the famed designer Giorgio Armani.
It features a selection of signature dishes, including Carpaccio di Gamberi e Sedano Croccante, and Pappa al Pomodoro e Burrata—a Tuscan style thick tomato-based soup with bread and burrata. Some Italian essentials including Roman-style Pizzas such as Pizza Napoli and Pizza Medina are must-haves. While, for pasta lovers, the café’s menu features Spaghetti ai Tre Pomodori, Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, and Lasagna Alle Verdure.
Cut to the dessert, this space offers an array of sweet delights to end your Italian cruise and make it more wholesome. The Tiramisu Chicco—one of Armani’s signature desserts, is a coffee bean-shaped tiramisu served along with some fresh berries. Éclair alla Nocciola, Panna Cotta Alle Fragole, and Crosta al Limone, are other desserts to try among others.
