The Enchanted Sleigh is a festive yule log created by Pastry Chef Maxime Frédéric, inspired by childhood memories for this festive season. This exquisite dessert features a 75% dark chocolate horse and sleigh, adorned with floral designs reflecting the hotel’s Art Nouveau architecture. The centrepiece is a vanilla rice pudding topped with mandarin compote and orange caramel, all resting on a textured base resembling freshly fallen snow. Priced at €220 and serving 5-6 people, this limited-edition creation is available for pre-order from December 20 to 25, 2024.
Chalet at the Heights, L’Apogée Courchevel
A part of the Oetker Collection, L’Apogée Courchevel is an alpine retreat known for its opulent design and exceptional service. This winter, the hotel introduces the Chalet at the Heights experience, offering guests an exclusive caviar tasting under a starry sky. The adventure begins with a snowmobile ascent to a secluded chalet, where guests enjoy Petrossian caviar paired with Ruinart Blanc de Blancs champagne or vodka. Designed for intimate gatherings, the experience accommodates up to 10 guests and is available from 13 December 2024 to 30 March 2025.
Festive Logs, Le Bristol Paris
Le Bristol Paris, one of the city’s most prestigious hotels, will offer Yule log for the 2024 festive season. The special creation is a collaborative masterpiece by Pastry Chef Yu Tanaka and the hotel’s new Executive Chef Arnaud Faye. The Signature Yule Log, limited to 50 editions, is inspired by winter citrus fruits and features a harmonious blend of citron, lime, and caviar lemon pearls, complemented by a honey mousse infused with lemon tree leaves. Alongside this centrepiece, Le Bristol offers two other festive logs: a Grand Cru Chocolate Log and a Hazelnut Truffle Log. The hotel is also introducing a special Epiphany celebration, featuring galettes with hidden golden beans that offer lucky winners an exceptional night’s stay at Le Bristol Paris.
Regency Revelry, Lanesborough London
The Lanesborough in London celebrates the festive season with an enchanting atmosphere and a range of exclusive experiences. This year the hotel is showcasing a stunning seasonal exhibition entitled ‘Regency Revelry’, designed by Leanne Roberts-Hewitt, featuring sumptuous decorations and a 12ft high Christmas tree. The hotel also introduces a ‘Christmas in Residence’ package, which includes festive meals, a decorated in-room Christmas tree and chauffeur services. Dining options include a festive menu at Lanesborough Grill and Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea, both of which showcase exquisite British cuisine.
Woodward’s Festive Masterpiece, The Woodward
Set against the backdrop of Lake Geneva, The Woodward in Geneva offers an array of experiences for the visitors. This Christmas, the hotel is offering a masterful Yule log inspired by an open book, available in chocolate-hazelnut or exotic flavours. Bar 37 transforms into a glamorous piano lounge for New Year’s Eve, whilst the two-Michelin-starred L’Atelier Robuchon and Le Jardinier serve exclusive festive menus crafted by Executive Chef Olivier Jean.
A Blooming Delight, Cheval Blanc Paris
For Epiphany 2025, Cheval Blanc Paris has created an exquisite Galette des Rois inspired by a rosebud, paying homage to the flowers from his childhood farmhouse garden. This masterpiece features handcrafted puff pastry petals made with premium Normandy butter and Auvergne flour, delicately dusted with brown sugar. At its heart lies a traditional almond frangipane cream, prepared in the purest tradition, revealing a subtle orange blossom aroma that harmoniously blends with the caramelised notes of the puff pastry and the creamy almond filling. This limited-edition Galette des Rois is available for pre-order on the Cheval Blanc website and can be picked up from January 2nd to 12th, 2025 at Cheval Blanc Paris.
