ENDO AT THE ROTUNDA, WHITE CITY
Endo at the Rotunda is a modern-day Japanese-themed one Michelin-star restaurant housed in the former BBC Television Centre. Created by Yokohama-born Endo Kazutoshi, the eatery occupies a light, bright top-floor space dominated by a stunning bar made of 200-year-old hinoki wood. A seat at this wooden bar is a unique opportunity for food lovers to enjoy authentic Japanese delicacies. With 20 courses to choose from, this place showcases the centuries-old skill of Edomae sushi (a type of fish sushi) from a true master. A delish collaboration between Angela Hartnett and Gordon Ramsay resulted in a Michelin star for the Italian restaurant within four months of its opening in 2008. The restaurant has held onto the recognition since then and is one of the restaurants to receive 4 AA rosettes. After taking over the reigns of the restaurant, Hartnett redecorated the restaurant to make it more appealing to the Italian heritage. Murano serves an impressive menu of pasta dishes like provolone, smoked potato agnolotti, Amalfi lemon tart and other mouth-watering desserts. THE LEDBURY, NOTTING HILL
Touted as one of the capital’s finest restaurants, The Ledbury held two Michelin stars till 2020, however, lost them after Covid restrictions forced the restaurant to close. But, thanks to head Chef Brett Graham, the revamped tasting menu-only concept pushed the restaurant to regain the food accolade, that too with an upgrade i.e. three stars in the year 2024! At Ledbury, expect a six-course tasting menu at lunch and an eight-course menu at dinner. The restaurant offers a culinary voyage with its lively plates inspired by Senegal, Ghana, and Nigeria.
